Storm Youth Academy

Player Development Academy Overview

Storm's Player Development Academy(PDA) is our program geared for more serious players. It is the next level from recreational soccer and provides a development platform for players that are looking to enter our prestigious Youth Academy Program, where we have had players graduate to play professional as well as collegiate soccer. Player Development Academy is also a great place to get a jumpstart on your skill development for those that want to play for their school teams eventually. Our program is designed to develop players 6U through 8U. Players that have participated in our program more easily make the jump to higher levels of play.

Our goal is to provide a professional and structured training program designed to prepare younger players to transition to the next level of competitive soccer. All PDA age groups practice two nights per week but players may also participate in optional additional supplemental training sessions.

We try to have most of the season's matches on Saturdays but depending upon schedule conflicts and opportunities with other clubs, some of the matches will be on Sundays as well.

Georgia Storm believes that its PDA Program is the best development option for our young players that want to reach the next competitive level. Our PDA program director is Sheldon McClendon.
